Since 1962 World Theatre Day has been celebrated by theatre professionals and theatre lovers all over the world on 27th of March. This day is a celebration for those who value the importance of theatre. Each year an outstanding theatre figure is invited to share his or her reflections on theatre. This – known as the International Message – is translated into more than 50 languages and read for spectators before performances in theatres throughout the world.
On this occasion, the Tamási Áron Theatre organizes a tour for the local pupils, guided by its actors Janka Korodi and Bence Kónya Ütő. This year the company celebrates with three different performances: a puppet show, a play entitled Danse Noir performed by the M Studio Movement Theatre and Molnár Ferenc’s famous Liliom directed by László Bocsárdi.
