Marc Camoletti
Boeing-Boeing
The comedy “Boeing Boeing” is Marc Camoletti’s classic comedy about a humorous and messy love triangle in the world of airlines.
At the heart of the story is Bernard, a young and attractive man in a parallel relationship with three different airline women: the English Janet, the French Jacqueline and the Italian Judith. Bernard cleverly manoeuvres between the three women, taking advantage of the airlines’ schedules to ensure that they never meet. His friend Robert, whom Bernard involves in managing the situation, is at first fascinated by his friend’s cunning methods, but soon finds himself in the middle of the complications.
Things get complicated, however, when the female characters’ flight schedule changes and the three women arrive at Bernard’s apartment at the same time. Comic confusion, misunderstandings and rapid shifts in the stage guarantee laughs as Bernard, housekeeper Bertha and Robert desperately try to resolve the situation while trying to protect the secrets of their secret lives.
The play is tense, entertaining and full of unexpected twists and turns, through which the audience witnesses a comic portrayal of love, infidelity and friendship. “Boeing Boeing” is the perfect choice for anyone who wants to end the year with a fun and entertaining evening!
