Radu Afrim’s A Chance Child is Telling a Story in Front of a Blue Blackground has been nominated for the 19th edition of POSZT, the National Theatre Festival in Pécs. Afrim reinterprets Ferenc Molnár’s The Glass Slipper in a fictive, cotemporary reality.
The Tamási Áron Theatre has been a frequent guest since the early editions of the festival. László Bocsárdi’s Ilja the prophet (2002), The Good Person of Szechwan (2005), Yvonne, Princess of Burgundy (2008), The Miracle (2009), The Merchant of Venice (2011), Twelfth Night, or What You Will (2016), Mihai Măniuțiu’s Medea and Sardar Tagirovsky’s The Cherry Orchard have also been invited earlier.
