We won three awards at the 31th Festival of Kisvárda

Our theatre was present at the 31th Festival of Kisvárda with Maria Wojtyszko’s Sam, or Preparing for Family Life, which tells the story of a teenage boy, who is coping his parents’ difficult divorce.

Our company won three awards: Gábor Erdei won best leading actor in the play, Magor Bocsárdi was given the prize for best music, while Janka Korodi for the most expressive stage movement.

Gábor Bóta critic wrote the following about the performance: “Sam, whose name means alone in Polish, has little hope left. This is not the theatre of hope, but more like the theatre of human suffering, sprinkled with perceptive and insightful humor.”
