Harold PINTER

Celebration

Harold Pinter is one the most important British playwrights of the post-Second World War period, who in 2005 received the Literary Nobel Prize. In his works he deals with the unpredictability, with the fear of the future, with the incapability to deal with traumas.
Celebration is about three couples who celebrate their wedding anniversary in a luxurious restaurant. In the beginning they share the usual small talk, but gradually uneasy topics come up like love affairs, hatred and even incest.
