Alice at the National Theatre Festival in Bucharest

The Tamási Áron Theatre participates in the 28th edition of the National Theatre Festival in Bucharest with a co-production of the Tamási Áron Theatre and sZempöl Offchestra entitled Alice. Based on Lewis Carroll’s Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass fantasy novels, this play is a mixture of a performance and a concert.

The play won the prize of the Hungarian Theatre Critics’ Association in three categories: the costumes of Zsuzsanna Kiss in Alice are the best costumes, the music of sZempöl Offchestra is the best theatrical music and Janka Korodi is the most promising entrant in the last theatre season according to the jury.

Festival participants have the opportunity to see the play two times: on the 22nd of October from 6 p.m. and from 9 p.m.
