ART – The Guest Performance of the Theatre of Târgu Secuiesc

We are happy to announce that the theatre of Târgu Secuiesc is bringing Yasmina Reza’s celebrated comedy, Art as a guest performance to the Tamási Áron Theatre. Our audience had the opportunity to see the play during the Saint George Days of 2018.

The French comedy raises fundamental questions about art and friendship. Set in Paris, the plot revolves around three friends – Serge, Marc and Yvan – who find their previously solid 15-year friendship on shaky ground when Serge buys an expensive painting. The canvas is white, with a few white lines. Is their disagreement really about art, or is it deeper? Will their friendship survive?

The play can be seen on the 19th, 20th and 21st of September in the Chamber Hall, from 7 p.m.
