On the 22nd January our theatre celebrates the Day of the Hungarian Culture with three important event. Beginning at 6 p.m. there will be a poster exhibition of the last 25 years’ performance posters. At 7 p.m. begins the performance entitled aritmia.doc, followed by an audience meeting where the contemporary poets will be present whose poems the performance was based on.
The exhibition gives the audience a taste of the theatre posters of the past 25 years, all of which were made for the performances of the Tamási Áron Theatre.
aritmia.doc presents a representative selection of the latest pieces of contemporary Transylvanian poetry that convey today’s feelings of life. The performance was born as a result of the meeting of seven young poets and seven actors: each actor entrenched themselves into the work of one of the young poets, then selected some of their poems, which they perform on stage in the way they find most worthy of that person.
