Martin Crimp
The Rest Will Be Familiar to You from Cinema
Facing the uncertainty caused by the pandemic these days, our societies are asking the question of how to continue our lives, what to carry on from our current habits and what to leave behind.
Martin Crimp’s play tells an ancient with the help of the sphinx, who, as a witness of history, watches as humanity wages its wars over and over again.
In our performance, the sphinx addresses us from the future and as the eternal witness and survivor of a future nuclear war, recalls the history of the past to ask us, the people of the present, where we are heading.
The permission of Martin Crimp’s heirs was intermediated by Judy Daish Associates Ltd (UK) and Hofra Kft.
We don’t recommend this performance for people under the age of 14.
