Tóték’s guest performances at home and abroad

The Tamási Áron Theater in Sepsiszentgyörgy is preparing for a three-station guest performance series with a play by István Örkény “Tóték”  directed by László Bocsárdi. The performance will be performed at the Sică Alexandrescu Theater in Brasov on Tuesday evening, May 31, then at the Thália Theater in Budapest on June 10, and the audience of the National Theater in Târgu Mureş will be able to see the production in the main hall of the theater on June 13.
According to director László Bocsárdi, it was a huge opportunity and also a huge challenge for the company to be able to stage this extremely important text in a way that is worthy of its rank. The performance deals with the story of Tótek in an unconventional form.  In addition to the dramatic text, the short novel also appears in the production. The audience can see in the leading roles László Mátray, Bence Kónya-Ütő, Annamária D. Albu, Zsuzsanna Vass, Gábor Erdei and Levente Nemes.
The performance starts in Brasov, Budapest and Târgu Mureş from 7 pm, and the guest performance in Hungary will take place as part of a series of programs entitled Hungarian Overseas Theaters.
